I had an interesting client, a few days ago, and he has given me permission to share his experience. I found this to be interesting and unusual, in several ways. So here it is:
He had four past lives. In the first, he was a court wizard, of some kind, with no family. The events he saw didn't have anything to do with magic, focusing primarily on politics. In the end he was beheaded for not telling the powers-that-be what they wanted to hear. After he died, he hung around for a bit watching as people wondered off without much ceremony. The purpose of that life was about standing up for you principles. I then attempted to move him forward and see a bit of the afterlife, but, instead, he jumped into another life.
In the life he was a wealthy man in, what looked like, a western European city, and appeared to be sometime in the 1800's. Again the focus was politics. He saw some scenes where he was dealing with a rival that eventually forced him into approving something he hated. Or maybe he hated losing? That wasn't clear. Right after that, he jumped again to another life.
In the next life, he was as a brown, furry creature, that was wearing some kind of metallic harness. He was on a long journey towards some odd, patterned, light beams, coming down out of the clouds. His mission was to greet the beings who were arriving. He really didn't want to do it, but it was some kind of important ceremony that had to be done.
Then he jumped to his final life, this time as a human. He was dressed in a outfit that sounds to me like one a Roman gladiator would wear: Shirtless, with a leather harness on his upper body and a skirt made of leather strips. He was watching a glowing white triangle, so bright he could hardly look at it, slowly descending on him and his people, melting and burning everything in it's path. As he watched, it came completely down to the ground, and was so enormous that it burned his entire people, and everything else, to ash. He watched the last part as a spirit, having been burned to ash in the process. This life's purpose had to do with fighting for your people and life, even though it seems impossible.
Now I moved him to the subconscious, and this is where things began to go sideways. At first the subconscious came through normally and we got a few of his questions answered. Then the conscious mind stepped in and started mediating. I tried, several times, to get the conscious mind to step aside, but no luck. Finally I just went with it and the rest of the session was very different.
He saw himself inside an "iron lung," as he called it, a shield, or a cocoon. "Normal" him was in the cocoon and "Happy" him was outside, to his right. No way was "happy" him coming inside the cocoon with "normal" him! When he tried to open the cocoon, something got very angry and was yelling at him to stop. I told him to command the something to go, he didn't need it any more. It took a relatively short time, but he got it to fade away. Now he could open the shield, remove it and send it away, with thanks, since he no longer needed it.
Two more somethings spoke up at different times in this process, and they also had to be sent away. Once that was done, I felt it was time to end the session and bring him out. He was getting restless and we'd been at it for over two hours. We'd not even made it half way through his list of questions, and the list wasn't that long.
Here was a case where being trained and having experience in several different healing modalities makes all the difference, for none of the QHHT training deals with what to do when you're confronted with "cocoons" and "somethings." The client was pleased with the results of the session and is looking forward to the next one.
